What Is Jawline Gum?

Mastic Gum Explained
.
The secret sauce of our jawline exercises is in the mastic gum.  It is by far the fan favorite of any jawline sculpting technique.  That's great and all, but what is it?
.
.
Cultivation
.
Let's take a trip together to the beautiful island of Chios, Greece.  There you will find the mastic tree.  Mastic gum is harvested from the resin (aka tears) of the tree in a slow and tedious process.  They say the purest mastic in the world is grown in Chios Island (they have European Union protection on it), and that is exactly where our supply of jawline gum is from here at Project Jawline.
.
Mastic gum production is a year long process.  Every 4-5 days, farmers will cut small slits into the bark of the trees so the resin can seep out.  While dangling from the bark and reflecting in the sun, they look like small crystals tears.  Mastic gum is now commonly referred to in Greece as the, "tears of Chios".  After the droplets are collected, they are dried out and ready for use as jawline gum!  The crystals provide up to 10x more resistance while chewing when compared to normal gum.

History
.
So who doesn't like a few quick fun facts?
-Let's start with this one: Wars were fought and people were executed over mastic gum.
-Mastic gum has been harvested and chewed dating back 2500 years.
-Back during Ottoman rule in Greece, mastic gum was worth as much as gold.  The sultan would execute anyone who would dare to steal any mastic.  Then there was the Chios Massacre of 1822
-The people of Turkey named Chios Island "Sakiz Adasi," meaning literally Island of Gum.
-Ancient Greek villages that harvested Mastic (there are about 24 left today) would commonly be setup in a fortress-like capacity.  They were out of site, surrounded by high walls with no street level doors.  The only way to enter was with a ladder.
.
They Don't Say "Jawline Sculpted Like a Greek God" for no reason!
The people of Greece have been chewing jawline gum for thousands of years to build a strong, sharp jawline.
